With Chicago Prize, alumna makes an impact

UNC Greensboro alumna Kemena Brooks is changing the face of Chicago neighborhoods and earning recognition on the city’s Crain’s Business 40-Under-40 list. Her current development, the Sankofa Wellness Village, has won the Chicago Prize, which comes with a $10 million grant from the Pritzker Traubert Foundation.
