Six months into the Light the Way campaign’s public phase, the tallies are scorching. The campaign will propel us to a future brilliant with possibility by raising $200 million to strengthen three key areas: Access, Excellence, and Impact. Here are where things stood as of March 31, 2022:
HIGHER MARK
Believe in the G was a smashing success – record smashing, that is. Never before had UNCG’s annual day of giving broken the $1 million mark. A record 1,802 donors contributed a total of $1,077,204 to the UNCG schools, units, and programs they care about most. Those figures make Believe in the G 2022 the most successful giving day in University history. Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends of UNCG displayed their Spartan spirit on social media, at on-campus events, and through giving challenges, making the day one to remember.
